It is more honest to read the Bible without trying to save certain theories, even if we are convinced they are true, because it is never a sin to read Biblical texts in its proper context. The Evolution theory is naturally impossible to save if the earth is not made through a Big Bang billions of years ago because lots of time is required in order to make this theory sound plausible. This Biblical information bothers many Christians due to their hard task to try to fit in the moon landings, the ball-shaped earth and heliocentrism – which are believed to be modern truths that must be saved to all costs. Heroic efforts have been made to explain away the firmament which we can read about in the Bible, partly because of the clear implications that it is durable enough to hold waters above it, but still small (and near) enough to enclose the celestial bodies which Genesis talks about.

With that in mind, I have always been curious as to whether or not any of the "flat earthers" have ever travelled any further than the city limits of their own hometowns. And for anybody who has ever had to do land navigation, the same principle applies. Speaking of flying, I can tell you from experience and many hours of flight training, one has to take the curve of the Earth into consideration when plotting courses across country, because there are variations in the compass headings depending on how far north or south of the equator you go. Anybody who has ever flown commercial airliners has only to look out the window of the aircraft once it reaches cruising altitude and - Lo and behold! - the curve of the Earth is right there in plain sight. No offense, SomeGuy, but I really don't have the time (nor the inclination) to watch an hour-long video about somebody trying to prove the Earth is flat. Trust me the earth is really flat.Īnd ofcourse all images from space are just photoshopped. Not sure how they pull that one off, but somehow they do. The moons only look like they are revolving around jupiter. The other planets in the solar system that you can see with a good telescope are totally flat too, they just look like spheres, the great storm on jupiter that disappears and reappears like it would on a ball is actually just sliding along the bottom of the flat disc. People that measure shadows in different places are simply just lying to trick you into thinking the world is round. The various star constellations are actually just really bright lights way up in space that people move around, again in effort to trick you into thinking the world was round. Large ships at sea are actually amphibious and they rise out of the water slowly, also another trick by the evil governments to trick you into thinking the world is round, but really they just build all large ships that can be seen from the shore to be secretly submersible. The lunar eclipse is actually a massive effort by world governments to trick you into thinking the world is round but actually they fly to the moon and cover it with a giant black blanket that is curved to try and convince you that the earth is indeed a sphere. They have special planes that seem exactly the same but can fly 3 times faster, and have special noise dampeners so we do not notice the sonic boom.
When we fly across the pacific, really we just fly east instead of west, and cross the Atlantic to get to Japan.
So when we get up to 35,000 feet and see the slight curve, it is really just hollywood special effects, even back in the 60's!
#Earth firmament windows
Well make that 6000 years we all know earth is really only 6000 years old right?!Īll the airlines actually cleverly installed screens on all the plane windows that never glitch or fail. The skies make enough water out of thin air that it can support the lost of trillions of gallons a second, every second for 4.5 billion years.
